Everything about Holt Heath Dorset totally explainedHolt Heath is a 4.88 square kilometre (2 square mile) National Nature Reserve situated four miles northeast of Wimborne Minster on the edge of the New Forest in east Dorset, England. The reserve includes dry and wet heathland, mire and ancient woodland, and is surrounded by similar habitat. The reserve is owned by the National Trust and managed in association with English Nature and the Dorset Wildlife Trust. The heath is one of the few places where all six native British reptile species occur.
